NFTY-NAR Albany Advocacy Day

Sunday, March 11 - Monday, March 12, 2018
Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Latham & Albany, NY

Albany Advocacy Day is an overnight social justice experience open to Jewish teens from throughout NY State. Teens spend Sunday learning about relevant social justice issues and preparing lobby speeches, and then all day on Monday in Albany meeting with our state assembly members and senators.

This year, we will be partnering even more closely with the RAC and the Reform Jewish Voice of NY to have a teen and adult advocacy day, showcasing the power of Reform Jewish advocacy in New York. Our lobbying priorities this year include: Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act (GENDA), Reproductive Health Act, Clean Energy, Criminal Justice Reform, Voter's Rights, Education Tax Credit

Albany Advocacy Day is open to all Jewish teens who live in New York State, including teens from our NAR, NE, NEL & GER regions.
